My passion for music education stemmed from a passion for music performance, which I first realized in high school. I believe that as I grow as an educator, I must continue grow as a musician. As a performer, I am able to experience different musical ideas and approaches that I am able to take back to the classroom and use with my students. I believe that as an arts educator, it is imperative to continue in my own practice and to grow as a performer. I have most recently perform with the Central Florida Winds during the 2022 season.
