Band Director

As a band director I have many roles other than just teaching music.  I believe a large part of my job is working with students to teach characteristics of a good leader and provide them with opportunities to lead.  I am also a liaison between the school and the community, offering opportunities for the community to experience the arts as well as engaging in our local school.  Additionally, it is the job of the band director to work hand in hand with parents in order create a relationship that will assist in the success of the ensemble.
