About me

I am a passionate Music Educator currently teaching at Space Coast Jr/Sr High School in Port St. John, FL  I have immersed myself in the musical world by participating in as many genres of performing ensembles as possible. Performing in a wide range of ensembles helps me to be an effective educator with a diverse population of students and to have the constant reminder of what it is to make music .  I have taught a variety genres and subjects from elementary general music and middle school band to competitive and non-competitive marching bands and the Cadets2 Drum and Bugle Corps. I have performed in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade as a member of the West Chester University Incomparable Golden Rams Marching Band and led Fusion Drum and Bugle Corps to multiple top five finishes at the Drum Corps Associates World Championships.

As a professional, I am working to develop my craft by participating in professional development, attending conferences, and working closely with colleagues through sharing pedagogical and rehearsal techniques. I am a member of the Florida Bandmasters Association, Florida Music Education Association, and the National Association for Music Education.  

My fiancé and I currently reside in Lake Nona, FL with our pound pups 'Baby Girl' and 'Jet'. When we are not playing low brass duets, we can most likely be found at "The Most Magical Place on Earth" or eating a sandwiches from Stasio's.
